The RSM Pathways course is tailor made for children age 2.5 to 3.5, and is designed to help them build a platform for lifelong learning and success.
Pathways is designed to improve children’s IQ and EQ together, at this critical period in their development. While Intelligence Quotient (IQ) measures abilities like reasoning, comprehension and calculating, EQ measures empathy, self-awareness and communication.
Today, it is widely known that having a balanced IQ and EQ is essential for leaders and team players, and both are equally valued by employers.
Pathways uses movement as the primary tool to build EQ by improving your child’s communication, expression and body awareness.
They will learn to express emotions through movement, begin to understand how their bodies work and obtain a deeper understanding of the world by doing and feeling, rather than thinking.
Pathways are communal building activities in which children get to experience how it feels to cooperate with their classmates. They expand their outlook on the world, begin to form a positive body image and begin to learn about spatial relations between themselves and the physical world.
Music is an innate part of human intelligence, and our appreciation of it begins from the time we are still in the womb.
In the Pathways program, music is used to help children free their bodies and minds, to introduce them to new rhythms and melodies, and expose them to multiple genres of music, from the most ancient to the most recent trends.
